NEW RIVERSIDE HOME NEAR KELSO

This project entailed obtaining planning permission in principle consent for a new residential dwelling on a former commercial car park area in an attractive riverside setting next to a Site of Special Scientific Interest between Kelso and Jedburgh.  The site was part of the grounds of a Georgian hunting lodge that was once the home of Lady John Scott (nee Alicia Ann Spottiswoode); a Victorian era conservationist, archaeologist and Victorian pop star (singer, songwriter) whose motto was 'Haud [hold] fast by the past'. The site is currently being marketed by Galbraith group. Follow this link for other examples of new build properties that we are currently working on.
